This Infection Prevention and Control for Nursing Staff will give you an overview of hospital-acquired infections, standard precautions to be practised by the staff and patients to reduce infection transmissions. This includes safe handling of sharps, sterilisation procedures for equipment and the surrounding environment, and the management of body fluids and blood.
