Description
The Safeguarding Childre course is designed to provide those who work with or care for children with the essential knowledge and skills to ensure the children under their care and supervision are free from the risk of harm. You will learn the key principles of The Children Act 1989, and will explore in detail the different types of abuse children and young people face.
This course will also provide you with the skills to protect children who have been abused and take necessary steps if you suspect that a child is being abused. It also explains why a child may be unwilling to provide personal information and how to handle disclosures.
