The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL Course) provides essential training in safeguarding, focusing on the protection of children and vulnerable adults. This DSL training course covers comprehensive safeguarding modules including laws and guidance, child abuse, child sexual exploitation, and risk assessment. Learners develop skills in protection, reporting concerns, record keeping, and applying safeguarding policies across educational and care settings.
On completion, the DSL course equips professionals to manage safeguarding responsibilities confidently, ensuring effective reporting of concerns, accurate risk assessment, and adherence to safeguarding policy. Participants enhance their ability to protect children and vulnerable adults, promote welfare, and maintain compliance within educational and care environments as designated safeguarding leads professionals.
Learners complete an assignment and can take a mock exam to practice and improve their understanding before the final multiple-choice exam. Tutors provide personalised feedback on the assignment. The final exam is automatically marked, and learners must achieve at least 60% to receive a CPD-certified certificate.
After completing the Designated Safeguarding Lead course assessment, you will be eligible to receive a CPD-accredited certificate worth £9 from One Education to demonstrate your achievement.
The certificate is also available as a printed hard copy delivered by post for £15.
