Overview

The Safeguarding Coordinator will help you identify and help individuals who are at risk of abuse or neglect. If you work in the welfare, care-homes, hospital, or community services, you may meet many vulnerable adults who are being targeted for exploitation or simply ignored.    

This essential program will teach you on all the responsibilities you have when investigating an adult’s well-being, and how to progress with the authorities. You’ll learn about the UK laws in place to protect potential adult victims, such as the Care Act of 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act.   

By taking this course, you’ll gain the confidence and knowledge to tackle abuse cases and feel empowered to assist those individuals that need help. This will be a relevant and useful skillset to own in healthcare, welfare, or educational sectors.
