Overview

Learn how to become a medical expert and impartially assess the personal situations of those with a disability to see if they qualify for financial support by taking this Disability Assessor Training. Those who need help and assistance from the Government should be able to receive it without further scrutiny and to be valued for the contributions they make to the community. The role of a disability assessor is to ensure that this process is carried out as smoothly as possible and deserving individuals get access to PIPs (Personal Independence Payments).

This Disability Assessor tutorial presents nine comprehensive modules that will provide you with an acute understanding of the role in question and its responsibilities. You will be shown how to perform disability assessments accurately and responsibly, relate to the personal challenges of a disabled person, impartially assess their requirements, and understand the categories of the ICF (The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health). With this advanced knowledge and understanding, you will be able to provide a much-needed service to the health system and help those in need get the financial support that they deserve.

Please note that the Disability Assessor course provides valuable and appropriate knowledge for anyone wishing to work in social and community care roles. However, it does not offer expert lessons to immediately work as an assessor or social care worker. Always check with prospective employers for requirements before performing any type of assessment work.
