Overview

The European Union Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs states that all professionals who prepare and handle food must have an awareness of best practice measures to maintain a high standard of food hygiene and safety at all times. The Level 1 Food Safety – Catering course is designed to provide those who are new to the catering industry with the practical skills and knowledge to ensure full compliance with The Food Safety Act 1990.
