It also provides a more holistic and thorough knowledge of the role and functions of tourism.
This unit gives an overview of the ways the creative authority and power of tourism that has an impact on people’s past and present. Furthermore, a review of how the role of tourism has changed in the representation of the public culture, the public heritage, and the public nature of places new interpretive climate of the so-called ‘postmodern’, ‘post-industrial’, and ‘post-colonial’ mood(s) is also covered in this unit.

A particular importance will be given to individuals looking to develop in their workplace based Masters dissertation/project. Specific issues faced by managers and researchers are given importance when carrying out research in an organisational setting.
