Review: As an English language teaching professional for 25 years, the Speech Therapist and SEN Teaching Assistant Course was a useful adunct to my ELT skills portfolio.
Review: the layout of the course was easy to follow, each unit is displayed on the left side, though i would say its best to use a computer rather than a mobile, to be able to see everything and navigate, it is a US course with some spelling errors but easy to follow, and all the information is the same in UK, what i would suggest if writing things down from every unit for revision at the end, there is a lot involved and it can go really indepth, but i found a youtube chanel which really helped much better than the videos supplied, i would subscribe to (khanacademymedicine) i understood much clear from these, their slow and easy to follow, i even drew the brains and labeled them, i did the course in 3 months because i already had a good understanding of ADHD, AUTISM, and Dyslexia, but i learned so much from this course, and i completed my final exam and passed first try, bit of advice, on exam if one of the option already selected are your answer make sure you move it then re select it, because when i got to the end it said i have some unanswered questions so i had to go back and re select them, not good when your pushed for time, but im thrilled, good value aswell.
Review: would have preferred more content of speech and language techniques and practices. The information was good. The exam was very figure driven and was not geared towards learned practice which was a shame.
Review: The reading content is ok.. not written well. The exam however.... awful. Poor written questions. No punctuation. Confusing. Vague Don’t waste your money
Review: Highly recommended SEN course :)))))))))))))))))))))
