On completion of this course, you will have been shown the fundamental components of an AED, and the importance of its presence at the scene of an accident or the vicinity of an unconscious individual. You will be taught the operational requirements, model types, and precautions in its use. Alongside this information, you will learn about the “chain of survival” and the medical protocol that should be observed.
