The Designated Safeguarding Lead Course UK is structured to cover safeguarding legislation, guidance, risk assessment, disclosure handling and reporting procedures. Learners gain a clear understanding of responsibilities aligned with DSL training for education settings and safeguarding lead roles.
The Online Designated Safeguarding Lead Training supports professional development through a Designated Safeguarding Lead CPD Course with QLS endorsement. Learners can also obtain a DSL certificate course UK, suitable for Level 5 safeguarding leadership and compliance requirements.
Learners complete an assignment and can take a mock exam to practice and improve their understanding before the final multiple-choice exam. Tutors provide personalised feedback on the assignment. The final exam is automatically marked, and learners must achieve at least 60% to receive a CPD-certified certificate.
After completing the Designated Safeguarding Lead Course assessment, you will qualify for a CPD certified certificate from One Education to showcase your achievement.
The certificate is available in two formats: a PDF version for £9 or a printed hard copy delivered by post for £15.

I found this course to be very thorough and interesting. It is just a pity the course is not regulated. Safeguarding is a serious entity and should be identified as that.
