  1. Provided more me more theoretical knowledge

I thought the course was very informative and provided more information on microorganisms. The course was useful for me as this allowed me to fill in gaps of my theoretical knowledge particularly about viruses, fungi and parasites. This was because when I was university studying pharmacology we covered microbiology but it was more based towards students studying biology or biomedical sciences. The course will now allow me to apply the theoretical knowledge I learned in order to understand the treatment and pharmacology of antibiotics and anti-virals.

On the other hand, the course could have had some information on anti-virals, anti-fungals and treatments for parasites as well applying the importance of microbiology in industry, medicine and the environment.

Overall, I was pleased with the structure and the information provided in this course and I would highly recommend it if you want to fill in gaps of knowledge of science or want to pursue a career in microbiology.
