Palliative and End of Life Care
The Palliative and End of Life Care aims to enable you to provide high-quality, holistic end of life care and to know when specialist input is required. The course is designed to help you to understand the concepts of palliative and end of life care across all fields of practice and disease boundaries as well looking at this area from a broad perspective whilst trying to provide an innovative approach to teaching and learning.
The Palliative and End of Life Care will teach you how to communicate sensitively about end of life concerns. It provides the knowledge and skills of the palliative care approach for patients with incurable medical conditions, enabling doctors to give better control of symptoms, support, and end of life care. You will learn to demonstrate enhanced levels of enquiry and critical appraisal of end of life and palliative care practice.
