The Safeguarding Adults Level 1 course is an in-depth training program designed to train those who work with adults or are aspiring to work with adults in a social care and health care setting. It explores the legal framework for safeguarding adults, the different types of abuse and offers step-by-step guidance on how to identify and report cases of abuse.

You will learn what is meant by the term “vulnerable adult” and will explore the groups of adults that may be at risk. This course includes practical exercises and case studies, including real-life scenarios related to safeguarding in a healthcare setting. On successful completion, learners will have the confidence and skills to ensure the welfare of adults under their care is adequately protected.

Upon successful completion, you will qualify for the UK and internationally-recognised certificate and you can choose to make your achievement formal by obtaining your PDF Certificate at a cost of £9 and Hardcopy Certificate for £15.
