School Counsellor Training

As a school counsellor, you will be responsible for providing psychological support to children and young people, through a range of therapeutic activities. In the School Counsellor Training , you will develop all the essential skills and qualities needed to be a successful school counsellor. Our experienced instructor will take you through a range of counselling methods and approaches, as you learn about the mental development of children and young people. Through case studies and practical exercises, you will also familiarise with a broad spectrum of psychological disorders, and learn how to provide person-centred therapy techniques.

Endorsed Certification from ABC Awards
After successfully completing the course, learners will be able to order an endorsed certificate as proof of their new qualification. Endorsed certificates can be ordered and get delivered to your home by post for only £ 109. There is an additional £10 postage charge for international students.
CPD Certification from One Education
After successfully completing the MCQ assessment of this course, you will qualify for the CPD Certificate from One Education, as proof of your continued professional development. Certification is available in PDF format, at the cost of £9, or a hard copy can be sent to you via post, at the cost of £15.
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

Method of Assessment
To assess your learning, you have to complete the assignment questions provided at the end of the course. You have to score at least 60% to pass the exam and to qualify for ABC endorsed and CPD accredited certificates.
After submitting the assignment, our expert tutor will assess your assignment and will give you feedback on your performance.
After passing the assignment exam, you will be able to apply for a certificate.
Who is This course for?
This online training course is ideal for those who are interested in a career in counselling children and want to deepen their understanding of the principles and practices of counselling in schools. There are no specific entry requirements for this course, which can be studied on a part-time or full-time basis.
The School Counsellor Training course is open to all, with no formal entry requirements. All you need is a passion for learning, a good understanding of the English language, numeracy and IT, and to be over the age of 16.
On successful completion, learners will have the qualification and practical skills to pursue a career in child counselling, working in schools. The average salary for a school counsellor in the UK is £33,000, which can vary depending on if you choose to work in a private or comprehensive school.
