This Speech & Language Therapy Training introduces speech therapy foundations, focusing on language development and child communication. Learners explore early intervention strategies, helping children strengthen communication skills and overcome common speech disorders.
Modules examine the science and anatomy of speech alongside speech pathology principles. Students understand articulation therapy, language assessment methods and key factors influencing speech disorders and child communication development.
The course also explores pediatric therapy approaches and practical guidance for supporting children with speech and language difficulties. Learners build confidence in applying early intervention strategies to improve language development and communication skills.
Learners complete an assignment and can take a mock exam to practice and improve their understanding before the final multiple-choice exam. Tutors provide personalised feedback on the assignment. The final exam is automatically marked, and learners must achieve at least 60% to receive a CPD-certified certificate.
After completing the Speech & Language Therapy Training - Child assessments, learners qualify for a CPD QS accredited certificate from One Education.
The certificate is available in two formats: a PDF version for £9 or a printed hard copy delivered by post for £15.
