In this course, you will learn what it takes to be a substance misuse outreach worker and to practise gentle and caring approaches and be able to build trust.

You will also learn to apply different strategies that encourage people to understand the consequence and side effects of addiction and advise them on lessening risks to health.

In addition to all of that, you will learn to advise and support people and young persons who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol and apprehend the importance of treating everyone fairly.

Learn to work in a holistic way with young people and work closely with local partners to supporting people and young persons with substance misuse issues.
