The Supporting a Grieving Employee: A Manager’s Guide course is designed to provide managers and employees with a detailed understanding of bereavement policy and support in the workplace. It offers guidance on a range of topics from creating a safe space for employees to talk, to the signs and symptoms of traumatic grief.

Anyone who is suffering from bereavement needs time off work and support to recover, and this course discusses the rights of employees in regards to bereavement, from bereavement allowance to the different ways to support employees returning from bereavement leave. It will also familiarise learners with the stages of grief and bereavement to help speed up the healing process.

This course is not just for managers, but for anyone who wants to learn how to support a fellow colleague through difficult times by learning valuable counselling skills.

Certificate of Achievement

Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme

After successfully completing the course, learners will be able to order an endorsed certificate as proof of their new achievement. Endorsed certificates can be ordered and get delivered to your home by post for only £89. There is an additional £10 postage charge for international students.

Method of Assessment

To assess your learning, you have to participate in an automated multiple-choice question exam. You have to score at least 60% to pass the exam and to qualify for Quality Licence Scheme endorsed and CPD endorsed certificates. After passing the exam, you will be able to apply for a certificate.

In addition, to enhance the depth of your knowledge regarding the course and further assess your learning, you are advised to complete the assignment questions provided at the end of the course, which you can complete anytime you wish. After submitting the assignment, our expert tutor will assess your assignment and will give you feedback on your performance.
