Well, there are no fixed things that you can do, life doesn’t come with a checklist after all. But there are a few key things that have helped many people and today I’m gonna tell you what they are.
These things are simple and easy, and if you can do these few key things right, you will see significant improvement in your life. I will discuss each of the points so that you can get a better understanding.
1. Avoid negative people
Let’s start with strong advice, this is the best thing you can do. If you want to improve your life, first you have to stop negative people from entering it and follow 13 tips to improve your life.
Remember you are the average of the five people you hang out with the most.
If you hang out with negative people, you will inevitably be affected by it.
Have you ever noticed that all your friends seem to dress alike? It is so weird. One day you wear a nice-looking T-shirt, and after a few months, all our friends are wearing something similar.
It’s because when a few people spend a lot of time with each other, they subconsciously start to mimic the other person’s behaviour, as human beings we like to feel like we belong and we want to be accepted by our peers, that is why we do the same things that our peers do.
If you hang out with people who are always studying, you will inevitably start to behave like them. If you hang out with people who are a big fan of football and watch it all the time, you will inevitably start watching football and become a fan of the sport. Similarly, if you hang out with negative people, you will inevitably become like them.
We all know who these negative people are. You know what I’m talking about. The people who always complain about how bad their life is, always blame others, and never take accountability, people who immediately shut themselves off to new experiences and try to bring you down when you start to improve and get ahead of them. People who always speak ill of others and never praise someone or give them the credit that they deserve.
These people are everywhere, we all know them, and we all know that they’re bad for us. And I wanted to give you the best advice that I can right from the beginning.
Your life will only improve when you stop letting negative people affect it negatively and start positive things to come into your life.
And to let positive things come in you first got to kick out the negative things.
Now I am not telling you to be rude to negative people in your life (although sometimes it is a good idea to give these people a piece of your mind, maybe that’s what’s finally gonna encourage them to change) but you can start with avoiding them, whenever they ask you to hang out with them tell them you have other important tasks to do, be polite and give them a reason, ignore them long enough and they will get the message and stop trying to come into your life.
2. Eat healthy
Have you noticed that everywhere you look now all you see are obese people?
The number one reason behind this obesity is bad eating habits.
Fast foods now dominate our diet, and they are really bad for us. Research has shown that eating fast foods and unhealthy things lower your productivity and ruins your motivation.
How can you expect your life to get better if you’re always eating unhealthy food?
Remember, you are what you eat.
Make sure what you put in your body is healthy and helps you stay healthy.
We all know what healthy foods are. I don’t think I have to explain that. But what I will say is this, if you start eating healthy foods, not only will it start to improve your life but it will also save you a tonne of money.
Fast foods are usually expensive, and they are bad for you, whereas vegetables and organic foods are cheaper in comparison and you can save a lot of money if you can cook and prepare your food by yourself.

When it comes to a list of things you can do to improve your life, regularly studying has got to be among the top things.
In an age of people always busy with social media and keeping up appearances, what will get you ahead and make your life better is knowledge. Real knowledge.
And where do you get knowledge? The best answer: is books.

7. Create a routine
Human beings like routines. From waking up, eating, and even going to the toilet, our brain likes to do things in a certain order.
If you create a routine for yourself and stick to it, your brain automates the process, for example, if you wake up at the same time every day, go to bed every day, and exercise every day, these things become a habit and your brain doesn’t have to waste any energy thinking about these things.

Within 2 months I lost 24.2508 lbs (11 KGs), and I noticed I felt a lot better, I was more productive, I felt better and yes, looked good too.
From then, it became a habit, and exercising is part of my daily routine now.

Trying to get ahead of the competition, working towards your goals, getting that promotion, hustling, these things are great. But from time to time you should slow down a bit.
Often time we hurry and make mistakes, we panic and don’t see solutions that are right in front of us.
Taking a step back and slowing down can be a great way to just breathe and think rationally.
You should spread out your tasks and take frequent breaks, whenever you get stuck, take a step back and relax, and take your time. You will see solutions just by taking a break.
Hustling is great, but sometimes what you need to do is slow down.

How to be a better person? Well, to be a better person, start with empathy. Listen more, judge less. Practice kindness daily. Offer help whenever you can. Learn from your mistakes. Reflect on your actions. Be honest with yourself. Strive for personal growth.
