Psychotherapy and Counselling
Informative and succinct
A few typos/ words that were not spelled correctly which always puts me off a bit but other than that, helpful and easy to access.
Good course
Course was very informative but there were multiple spellign and grammer issues throughout the course, especially in the Mock exam and the Final exam wjhich were awful from a grammer perspective
Good information. Some revisions needed.
The course content was interesting and useful. The course is advertised as a level 3 Diploma, however, throughout the course, it is clearly stated that it is an introduction to psychotherapy course. This was fine for me as I am just starting out so I learned a lot of valuable information, however, it probably would not suit someone looking for CPD as they would already know the information in this course.
Throughout the course, it was made clear that there are further reading/recommended literature PDFs available to the students but unfortunately I could not find them. The tutor stated that if any students have any questions etc then they are welcome to email her directly, but there was no email provided to do this. Instead, I emailed One Education about, both, the PDFs, and the tutor’s email. I was informed that my email would be passed on to the relevant department. I am currently waiting for a reply from the department with the information.
There were some mistakes/missed out words in the lecture slides but they made no difference to the information. It was still clearly understandable. The mock exam and final exam are in need of reviewing, in my opinion, as there were some questions that did not make sense and/or stopped halfway through the question so you had to partially guess at the answer. On the front cover/page of the exam, it is explained how the exam should be completed, the time allotted, pass marks, etc. In this section, it is stated that you must check/tick the radio icon next to the answer that you think is correct. I’m not sure what this is referring to as it is simply a circle that is ticked. The layout of the exam could be slightly improved as the ‘submit’ button is placed in such a way that it looks like it is a ‘submit answer’ button, not a ‘submit exam’ button. I was (luckily) able to retry the mock exam up to 5 times, but I had used up my first try with that easy mistake.
Overall, the course content is definitely worth knowing and is highly useful for me (as a beginner in the subject), though it should be noted that this is an introduction to psychotherapy and counselling course, not a Level 3 Diploma.
Very interesting
Interesting course, make sure you take plenty of notes – you will need them later.
