Review: it was interesting to learn a few new things.
Review: I enjoyed the course, I was made aware of alternative event management techniques, and new considerations when planning weddings. As the other reviews suggested I felt the Wedding Planning section more suitable for someone who was planning their own wedding from a content perspective, it was down to how it was all described. The Event Management section was much more suited to a business environment. On the whole I enjoyed it and felt like I have learnt some new things.
Review: The course is alright. i agree with those who say it is more aimed at those getting married. There should be more tests available to really soak in your knowledge as it is basically just a reading, doesn't really feel like a course. Should be a little more interactive.
Review: enjoyed course kept me going while ill
Review: Whilst this course was interesting the first part was relevant to a bride and groom’s perspective rather than a planner’s. The course could have been a tad more interactive in say giving a quick quiz at the end of each segment so the user could determine how much information had been absorbed. The mock exam was good practise. The flitting between American & UK information was distracting as it was difficult at times to gauge exact cost or relevance. Some of the chapters in section 2 were clearly chopped from other material/courses and did not feel relevant or flowed with the nature of the course therefore cheapening the content. One of the exam questions was blatantly wrong also, possibly very out of date. Overall the course could do with a review to bring it up-to-date and remove the typos and irrelevant material. I did enjoy the course but don’t think I have learned anything new.
